Ophthalmologist with an interest in or experience with cataract and refractive surgery

To expand our team of eight ophthalmologists, Eyecenter is looking for a motivated ophthalmologist.

Eyecenter is a thriving and continuously growing practice with a strong team of eight ophthalmologists and specialized staff to provide the best eye care to all our patients at four locations. Due to the increasing demand for a glasses- and lens-free life, we are looking for a colleague ophthalmologist with experience in cataract and refractive surgery.

Do you not yet have the necessary experience but have an interest in this field? At Eyecenter, we offer the opportunity to follow a fellowship with our head physician Dr. Fernand De Wilde.

Our offer:

• If relevant, unique 6-month fellowship opportunity in cataract, refractive, or eyelid surgery with our head physician and experienced mentor Dr. Fernand De Wilde.
• You will be part of a motivated team of ophthalmologists that can rely on experienced support staff to assist every ophthalmologist in optimal conditions. We provide assistance from optometrists, orthoptists, nurses, and an experienced medical secretariat.
• You will work in a modern environment equipped with high-tech infrastructure, including an in-house operating room and a fully equipped technical platform (OCT, fluorescein, YAG, biometry, visual field, etc.).
• A collaboration on both a part-time or full-time basis is possible.  If wanted, you can work at the different sites of Eyecenter.
• Access to the large network of ophthalmologists within the Signifeye ophthalmologist group, to which Eyecenter belongs.
• Attractive compensation model with additional (optional) possibility to participate in the Signifeye ophthalmologist group.
   

What kind of colleague are we looking for?

• You are a recognized specialist physician in ophthalmology.
• You are empathetic, eager to learn, and have good communication skills.
• You enjoy working in a team and can also work well independently.
•  You are proficient in Dutch, as well as English and French.
